Experienced Worker Test: Candidates who hold previous experience may be eligible for an experienced worker test.
Course Duration: To be determined upon application and confirmation of experience.
Course Outcome: Full Npors qualification will be awarded on successful completion of training and tests.

Course Description

  • Understand and explain the hazards including overhead power lines
  • Select the correct lifting equipment to be used for the job attach and detach safety
  • How to plan a lift and do a test lift
  • Access and determine the weight and size of loads and relay the information to the operator
  • How to determine the centre of gravity of loads
  • Agree on the signals to be used with operator and lift loads of various size and weight
  • Determine when lifting accessories should be serviced and the correct maintenance and storage procedures
  • Procedures for fault reporting
  • Operator trained theory test
