Experienced Worker Test: Candidates who hold previous experience may be eligible for an experienced worker test.
Course Duration: To be determined upon application and confirmation of experience.
Course Outcome: Full Npors qualification will be awarded on successful completion of training and tests.

Course Description

  • Identify the roles and responsibilities’ of dozer operator
  • Carry out pre use check, functional checks and correct shut down procedures
  • Understand the names and components of the dozer their function
  • Set up and travel across site of various terrains
  • Use of the operator’s manual
  • Manoeuvre round site in a open area and confined space
  • Place the dozer in and out of service
  • Explain and identify hazards, underground services and overhead cables
  • Configuration for excavating duties
  • Construct ramps and form and shape stockpiles
  • Grade, spread and level ground materials
  • Apply all necessary safety precautions
