Experienced Worker Test: Candidates who hold previous experience may be eligible for an experienced worker test.
Course Duration: To be determined upon application and confirmation of experience.
Course Outcome: Full Npors qualification will be awarded on successful completion of training and tests.

Course Description

  • Carry out pre use checks, functional checks and correct shut down procedures
  • Understand the names and components of the log handler
  • Use of the operator’s manual
  • Preparing for site travel
  • Manoeuvring in confined spaces and open spaces laden and unladen
  • Loading and various discharging procedures
  • Place the loading log handler in and out of service
  • Storage and transportation of various attachments
  • Fit and remove attachments
  • Carry out stacking and de stacking exercises
  • Apply all necessary safety precautions
  • Operator trained theory test
