Experienced Worker Test: Candidates who hold previous experience may be eligible for an experienced worker test.
Course Duration: To be determined upon application and confirmation of experience.
Course Outcome: Full Npors qualification will be awarded on successful completion of training and tests.

Course Description

  • Carry out pre use checks, functional checks and correct shut down procedures
  • Understand the names and components of the lift truck their function
  • Use of the operator’s manual
  • Preparing for road and site travel
  • Manoeuvring in confined spaces and open areas laden and unladen
  • Safe working load (SWL)
  • Load centre
  • Understand what can effect the stability and how to maintain it
  • Lifting various loads and accurately moving them to land down on different levels including at high places
  • Place the lift in and out of service
  • Apply all necessary safety precautions
  • Operator trained theory test
