NVQ Level 2 In Forward tipping dumper

Overview:

The NVQ Level 2 qualification is tailored for those who work in the construction industry. This Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Plant Operations is accessible to Forward Tipping Dumper operators who have already completed one of the appropriate courses (and hold either the Red CPCS card or the Red NPORS card in this category).

Entry Requirements:

Learners must be 16 or above and that they are capable of demonstrating knowledge and operating skills in order to reach the standards of their NVQ qualification.

Suitable Delegates:

An NVQ in Plant Operations in a singular element of plant is relevant to anyone who holds a red NPORS and CPCS trained operator card and is working towards a blue competent operator card. Completing this NVQ will allow the delegate to the CPCS Red Card (Trained Operator). Providing you have the NPORS or CPCS Competent Operator card (Blue) then you are able to take this course.

Course Content:

The learner will be assessed on-site through a range of assessments. Such as observation whilst operating the plant, witness testimonials, written questions and evidence generated from the workplace.

Mandatory units include:

Working to General, Health, Safety and Welfare in the Workplace Standards.

Working to Productive Working Practices in the Workplace Standards.

Further Development:

This qualification allows the learner to demonstrate their capability in plant operations at a standard required by the construction sector. There is a range of roles the learner can take prior to the course all across the construction industry and built environment. They can even move into other sectors in which they can use their knowledge including management and team leading.
