Experienced Worker Test: Candidates who hold previous experience may be eligible for an experienced worker test.
Course Duration: To be determined upon application and confirmation of experience.
Course Outcome: Full Npors qualification will be awarded on successful completion of training and tests.

Course Description

  • Understand and explain the hazards including overhead power lines
  • Current legislations (LOLER 98)
  • Carry out pre use checks, functional checks and correct shut down procedures
  • Apply all necessary safety precautions and hazards on site
  • Attachments
  • Lift plans
  • Understand slinging signals
  • Safe working loads (SWL)
  • Set up for lifting duties
  • Lifting requirements and carry out various lifting activities
  • Operator trained theory test
