Experienced Worker Test: Candidates who hold previous experience may be eligible for an experienced worker test.
Course Duration: To be determined upon application and confirmation of experience.
Course Outcome: Full Npors qualification will be awarded on successful completion of training and tests.

Course Description

  • Identify the roles and responsibilities’ of the tractor operator
  • Carry out pre use checks, functional checks and correct shut down procedures
  • Understand the names and components of the tractor and their function
  • Use of the operator’s manual
  • Preparing for road and site travel
  • Manoeuvring in confined spaces and open areas laden and unladen
  • Reversing the tractor with a trailer
  • Mounted implements
  • Place the tractor in and out of service
  • Apply all necessary safety precautions and hazards on site
  • Current safety and law regulations
  • Operator trained theory test
